Vesterly was founded on a straightforward idea: that the administrative side of retirement preparation deserves the same care and attention as the planning itself.
About Vesterly
A small team with a clear purpose
Vesterly came into being in Chiang Mai in 2018, started by a small group of people who had spent years watching friends and family struggle not with the decisions around retirement, but with the sheer volume of paper that surrounded those decisions.
Pension statements from multiple providers. Letters going back years. Forms half-completed and set aside. Documents that felt important but had no clear home. The problem wasn't lack of planning — it was lack of a system for the paperwork.
That observation became Vesterly's founding purpose: to provide calm, methodical administrative support for people approaching or already in retirement, so that their documents are organised, accessible and ready whenever they're needed.
We are based in Chiang Mai's Chang Khlan neighbourhood and work primarily with residents of northern Thailand, including a growing number of international residents and retirees who have made Thailand their home.

To make the administrative side of retirement preparation as straightforward as possible — leaving people free to focus on the decisions that truly matter, supported by documents they can actually find.
What We Are Not
Vesterly is not a financial advisory, legal or pension consulting service. We do not interpret documents, give recommendations on pension decisions, or engage in any form of regulated activity. Our work is entirely administrative and informational in nature.

With a background in records management, Siriporn established Vesterly after years of helping family members navigate accumulated paperwork before and during retirement.
Martin Whitfield
Document Systems Specialist
Martin oversees our digitization services and file-naming systems. He has spent fifteen years working in administrative support for international organisations in Southeast Asia.

Natcha manages initial consultations and ongoing client communication, helping each person feel comfortable and unhurried as they work through their paperwork alongside our team.

All documents handled by Vesterly remain confidential. We do not share, duplicate or retain personal records beyond what is needed to complete the work you have asked us to do.
Originals returned promptly
Physical documents are signed in, tracked during the process and returned to you in full once work is complete. We keep a handover record for your peace of mind.

We apply clear, consistent naming and folder conventions so that the system we build for you is intuitive to use independently after the engagement ends.

Retirement paperwork support in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai has for many years been a popular destination for people in or approaching retirement — Thai nationals returning home from careers abroad, and international residents drawn by the city's pace, affordability and community. Both groups often carry documentation from multiple countries and institutions, accumulated over decades of working life.
Vesterly exists to help with the practical, administrative dimension of that reality. Whether someone has spent their career in Thailand, overseas or across both, the paperwork that accompanies retirement rarely arrives in neat order. Statements, correspondence, annual summaries, old employment records, entitlement letters — keeping track of all of it takes more time and method than most people expect.
Our three services — paperwork organisation, records digitization and the self-assessment worksheet toolkit — address different points in the preparation process. Some people come to us with boxes of paper that need sorting from scratch. Others have digital files but no consistent naming system. Others want a structured way to gather their own thoughts before meeting with a professional adviser.
In each case, Vesterly's role is the same: to provide methodical, patient, administrative assistance. We create the folder, do the scanning, prepare the checklists — and then hand everything back to you, clear and ready for whatever comes next.
